DWI Checkpoint Middletown NJ
The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will conduct a sobriety checkpoint to detect drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol this weekend.
In cooperation with the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety, task force members will station the checkpoint from 11 p.m. Friday through 3 a.m. Saturday on Route 35 North.
Task force members and Middletown police officers will pull vehicles from the northbound lanes into the Hudson City Savings Bank parking lot to conduct the sobriety tests, said Michael W. Palmer, task force coordinator and chief of the Brielle Police Department.
